I found it very fitting to post this today. The very last post I wrote here, back on December 20th was the beginning of a journey for me. My friend, Cary Christan, left this world for new adventures on December 29th 2008. My last entry…Time,Crossing the Veil, was born from me in a sort of premonition of that event. Today, March 16th would have been her 64th birthday. In memory of her amazing courage to write, sing and sign her autograph of life I make a commitment to myself, to never stop expressing who I am.
Thanks for this. I just read it today and it touched me. What a great gift she has been for you and no doubt her life has impacted many others. I didn’t even know her and she has impacted me.
for some reason I found myself coming to this site again today and reading the tribute again and the comments. I am deeply indebted to Charlotte and all you did for Cary and me. I was Cary’s life partner and for the person who wrote and did not even know her but was touched by her that does not suprize me. Cary managed to touch many people in a variety of ways. Although physically gone I know she will always be in some small way a part of our daily lives. As she would say this is no rehersal, so live each day to its fullest and tell people you care for them and love them.
